A non-refundable $50 deposit must be made on any custom covers. Final product will be sent out only after full payment is made.​​

Prices are subject to change at any time, and without warning. Price is only guaranteed upon receipt of deposit.

PREMADES

Premade covers will come with an ebook, full-wrap, cover reveal graphic, and title png. Please contact for additional graphics.

Premades are available on a first come, first served basis. Once they are sold, they are never sold again.

To reserve a cover, a non-refundable 50% deposit must be made. Once the modifications are approved you have 24 hours to complete the payment. Failure to do so will put the cover back on the market.

All sales are final and non-refundable.

Premade text modifications are included in the purchase price. 

Major modifications to fonts or design will require an additional charge.

Premade covers are made with stock images. Bitter Sage Designs will not use those images in other projects - however we cannot guarantee the images will not appear on other covers. There will be no changes to the premade stock photo selection.

WORK FLOW

Please try to book your cover as soon as possible and well ahead of any scheduled deadlines. Each additional change will take extra time on Bitter Sage Designs part to complete. Bitter Sage Designs is not responsible for any missed deadlines on the Client's end due to poor communication.

IMAGE EXPENSES:

Stock Images selected by Bitter Sage Designs from the following stock image sites:

- Deposit Photos (Standard License)

- Shutterstock ( Standard License)

- Adobe Stock (Standard License)

- Creative Market (Extended Commercial & Desktop License)

The image chosen will only be used for this project. Bitter Sage Designs maintains full rights to this photo, Client maintains limited rights to use this photo for anything involving the Client’s book promotion, alone. Other authors/designers may have the same or similar images/models and Bitter Sage Designs can’t be held liable for other covers/etc that contain the same imagery.

​Photo may NOT be sold, reused, or used out of context aside from the specified book-related printing, reproductions, and otherwise. It may be used for any print promotion and online promotional use. It may not be used for sale items other than the eBook, and print book. If other sale items will be created from this photo, the Client will need to purchase the full rights to the image.

​Photo may not be used on any other printed work by alternate designers unless otherwise discussed. Bitter Sage Designs and the Client maintain rights to the specified photo.

​Each image shall not, under any circumstances, be altered without prior permission by Bitter Sage Designs.

If the Client chooses to provide the cover image: They maintain the rights to said image. The Client must obtain the correct rights and permissions for use of the photo they are providing. Client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Bitter Sage Designs from any and all copyright and permission infringement action resulting from materials client provides.

​CANCELLATION:

​In the event of a cancellation before work has started, no further expenses will be owed. If the work has begun on the project, the remaining balance will be owed. Once work is booked, no refund will be given.

​

​OWNERSHIP:

Bitter Sage Designs maintains the full rights of all original designs. Designs and their concept, including layout, image style, placement, and fonts aren’t permitted to be recreated by another person.

​The Client maintains the rights to the stock photo that they have downloaded. ​

Bitter Sage Designs controls the limited rights to the cover to use as any sort of self-promotion, portfolio, client viewing, etc.

​ATTRIBUTION

Bitter Sage Designs requires credit appear in client’s book whether on the cover or inside on the copyright page.

​LIABILITY

Bitter Sage Designs isn’t liable for damages of any kind, including loss of revenues, profits, business, reputation, or data, in any way related to our services. Bitter Sage Designs isn’t responsible for any claim, loss, or injury based on errors or inaccuracies appearing on our site or in our clients’ written documents once the cover has been approved.

​Should Bitter Sage Designs take longer to complete the project than originally indicated i.e. family emergency, act of nature, the Client will be contacted via phone or email in order to agree upon a new project completion date.

CODE OF FAIR PRACTICE​

Bitter Sage Designs acknowledges that to the best of their knowledge, the work prepared is an original creation and has not been previously published, and/or consent to use has been obtained on an unlimited basis. The work prepared does not contain any scandalous, libelous, or unlawful matter. The Client and/or others may not use Bitter Sage Designs products in any way that may infringe upon the rights of others.

ACCEPTION OF TERMS​

Both Bitter Sage Designs and the Client will acknowledge acceptance of these terms. By acknowledging this contract, the Client agrees to hold Bitter Sage Designs entirely free from any liability, including financial.
